Life has been interesting the last few months. Since moving my Grandmother in, we’re all adjusting. She’s adjusting to her entire life being upended. We are adjusting to our lives being upended. Lots of adjustment. Lots of compromise. Lots of frustration. But always gratitude. When I find myself getting frustrated that my house isn’t exactly just ~my~ house anymore, I think, with gratitude how fortunate I am to have my Grandmother here with me. Still kicking at 88. Thank you Jesus!
It’s our new kind of normal and we’re figuring it out. One day at a time. And trying to enjoy this for as long as we’re allowed this privilege!
